Russia had a solid victory,6-1, over USA. They had six straight wins but Bakhtiar Akhmedov was upset by Steve Mocco at 120kg. The host country destroyed Ukraine, 7-0 in afternoon match and will face Cuba in final.

In another group, Cuba beat Turkey,7-0  and then defeated Uzbekistan 3-3. The referee disqulified both wrestlers in 66kg(Geandry Garzon VS Khutaliev) and at last referees voted to Cuba team  win.

World and Olympic champion, Artur Taymazov win over Alexsis Rodriguez was the most important bout of the two teams dual.
